Cybersurf Announces Media Partners for Toronto Launch

Business Editors

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 23, 1999--(ASE:CY.)
Cybersurf is pleased to announce that it has engaged The Global
Television Network and The Globe and Mail as its Toronto Media launch
partners.
The immediate objective of these partnerships is to generate
public awareness of 3web in the Toronto marketplace. Under the terms
of this agreement, a series of 3web print and television commercials
will be served over several weeks, informing the general public about
3web and its availability in Toronto. The Globe and Mail will also
promote 3web within the advertising areas of its online presence in
early December. In exchange for this advertising space, 3web will
develop and host advertising of equal value for Global and The Globe
and Mail on its Toronto network. Various 3web advertisements have
appeared both in print and on prime time television since November 1.
3web's print advertisements featured prominently in the Globe's News
and Business sections, while its television spots have aired during
shows such as Frasier and NYPD Blue.
George Gonzo, Executive VP Sales and Marketing for Cybersurf, and
President of the 3web Network, has been fundamental in creating these
strategic partnerships, and is confident that The Globe and Global
will provide the exposure needed to create maximum awareness. "We made
the decision to use the top-rated players in each medium with which to
deliver our message to Toronto", says Gonzo. "With the public response
we've received thus far, we know the decision was a wise one". Mr.
Gonzo also states that Cybersurf's long-term goal is to establish
ongoing relationships with blue-chip media partners such as The Globe
and Global as 3web expands into other markets across Canada.

About 3web

3web is a proprietary software application that was developed by
Cybersurf Interactive Media, a division of Cybersurf Corp. It offers
users a powerful and secure portal to anywhere on the World Wide Web,
as well as E-mail and E-commerce functionality. The 3web Network is
supported by commercial advertising and E-commerce initiatives and is
totally free to the user. Cybersurf's proprietary 3web
advertisement-supported approach is unique in Canada bringing highly
targeted, demographically-specific advertising to the user's desktop.
Traditional portals provide advertising via banner ads on web pages,
making it easy to click the ad away. 3web's portal operates
independently of any Web browser and can never be hidden or disabled.
No matter where the user travels on the Internet, 3web's advertising
is always visible. It is because of this feature that advertisers on
the 3web Network can be guaranteed exact impressions and can target
specific demographic profiles.

Network's intelligent advertising capabilities, visit
