Jeff:SLC is the cabinet by the roadside attached to the pole which I think you refer to as a big box. It measures about 4x5 feet. It connects probably what is a T1 to I don't know what - probably our circuits. The little house is not big enough for a switch I don't think but it could house the ADSL gear and would be cool enough. It has some very sophisticated looking gear in it, however. I walked into to it much tothe alarm of my lineman when looking for him to repair our twisted pair.
