I bought JDS Fitel (Toronto Exchange)in the Fall of 98 at a trailing P/E of 28. JDS Fitel and Uniphase then went on to form the current company. I have booked profits along the way but still have a significant stake with a 1200% gain in my tax sheltered account.

The people who populate the JDSU thread on SI are mostly enthralled. Many appear to think that, since the stock has gone parabolic, there is no way it will suffer a reversal. Every time the stock takes a jump, new people appear who ask "Is this is a good time to buy this stock? Cuz I heard the price is going up."
