And you are doing an admirable job of it, too. I am inspired. I feel happy and content not reading Feelies or anything else. X was right; it's a liberating thing to do. And I think they will miss us terribly, judging by their attempts to catch attention. I bought two pounds of pearl onions. And a cheese grater. I don't know why I bought the cheese grater. It was just there, and it looked so clean and white and fun. It's the roller kind that you stick the Parmesan in and then turn the handle. I see myself moving graciously around the table (not at Thanksgiving- not too many people like Parmesan on their turkey-some other time) and bestowing fresh-grated cheese on people's pasta. I'm doing a beautiful eye of the round tonight. The boys just got home, and all is well.
