You are quite correct to doubt Ericy denial of interest in NN. I was in bay networks when it was bought out a couple of years ago by NT. NT said on the thursday before they acquired bay three days later on monday, that bay was too big an acqusition and they were not interested. I have seen this happen in other situations as well.
