And then there's the Novell connection (Coming Soon BioLogon 2.0 for Netware): nwfusion.com Novell is hoping to use its directory services for a centralized authentication clearinghouse, among other functions. A VRSN poster thought that meant using VRSN services, and that could be true, but I think it can also mean IDX algorithms may be residing on the NDS system, allowing anyone using the NDS directory to have an easily achieved compatibility with IDX scanners. ($429 for a smart card/biometric keyboard?? Why doesn't IDX just change its name to Tiffany's? I don't get this pricing at all.)
