Wow, it sure sounds like you had quite an adventure in your travels! And it seems like almost everyone else decided to give all their stock profits to the casino owners in Los Vegas, but according to Carolyn they really had a fun time.
On the night of Carolyn's big "cyberspace celebration" of her birthday, I had way too much time on my hands, and started yet another d*mn list! If you would like to be included, just follow VERY CAREFULLY the "Instruction Manual" (link included), and re-post it.

PS. Thank you for asking about how Puna and my Dad is doing after his heart attack. He's improving each day. Walked to the beach for the first time last week (usually walks the beach about 3 miles a day with Mom). He's a tough old ex-marine WWII fighter pilot who really hates hospitals (but has a great sense of humor, and drove his nurses crazy), and is usually incredibly active (even took up "street-fighting" Karate in his 70's, earning several belts), so being cooped-up (even a few hours) was driving him crazy. His first love is wood-carving (since retirement), and his work is incredible (he will spend an entire year on a single carving). One of his earliest carvings is the 6 ft. dia. official "City Seal" of a city we both know very well (which sits on the wall in the mayor's conference room). He donated it to the city back in the late 60's when I was in charge of a big remodel project of the city hall (including the mayor's office).
