DVD recorder? Hmm... I don't stay up much in that area, but are you indicating that read/writable DVD for PC's and other use (e.g. TV/Video, Audio) are currently available?? $5,000? Also, aren't there a number of "standards" as they pertain to DVD? I assume a DVD purchased/rented at the local video store plays on any DVD playback device - as in entertainment systems and PC DVD. Can I buy a read/write DVD for PC soon? What is it's capacity? 8Gig, 16 Gig? Sorry to be so naive, but that's my nature! :^) If that [read/write DVD] is available, I guess the CD-ROM is destined to be on the shelf like those 360 Kbyte diskettes. Ignorant question? Is the market open this Friday, after Thanksgiving? Either way, Wednesday PM will be sloooow and if Friday is open, it will be a slack day as well. Would be nice to see rmbs begin to show some recovery, possibly next week. Anyone have a feeling about the seemingly increased volume of Jan 85-100 Calls the past week or so? Is the volume greater because folks are "loading up", or greater because folks are "unloading". That's always a difficult answer.
