It would be great if someone in the DC area could sit in on the January 13 meeting - it's open to the public. fda.gov On January 13, 2000, the committee will discuss, make recommendations, and vote on a premarket approval application (PMA) for a holmium laser for the correction of hyperopia using laser thermal keratomileusis (LTK). On January 14, 2000, the committee will discuss and make recommendations on (1) the reclassification of an artificial eye lubricating solution and (2) the classification status for currently unclassified eyelid weight devices. On January 13, 2000, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on January 14, 2000, from 9:30 to 2 p.m., the meeting is open to the public. peter
