Any idea if SiC holds any advantages over Si in going to sub .2u linewidths in the next generation of chips??

no i do not....someone else may.
i do know that the end is in clear sight for present chip technology.

cree ceo has said he has lots of options...his priority is to chase the most profitable products. chips are a commodity item.

it is becoming increasingly clear that SiC has many many applications. and more are being developed in research facilities around the world. hard to believe cree's production is sold out 12-18 months ahead and demand is accelerating, and no serious competition is in sight. unfettered continuous rapid expansion is a great position to be in.

i like this company.
:o)
