Correction, just came across this statement on MarketWatch: cbs.marketwatch.com "The draw to the Holdrs, Merrill says, is that they allow investors great flexibility with taxes and an ability to sell some or all of the stocks in a single-commission transaction. Holdrs owners, for example, can sell the losing stocks in the basket for a tax loss without having to sell the winners, an alternative that's not available to fund investors."
