Charles - <Could you humor me too with some commentary on how you see the 800MHz CuMine's coming through. From what I gather 750 launch is in January and 800s in February, does that sound right or you think that is too pessimistic? I while back you posted that the splits were in double digits for 733s. Would you say the same for 750s? How about 800s? >

I'm not going to specifically comment on schedule for non-introduced parts. I try to contain my specific comments to items that have been publicly commented on / disclosed by Intel Execs or spokespersons. The parts you are referring to have not been introduced.

As for the above reference to an earlier post, Intel spokespersons denied rumors that manufacturing problems were the basis for reported "shortages" of high MHz Coppermines, e.g., 733's, stating something to the effect that that Intel "was not having a hard time producing [these parts]". I agree wholeheartedly with that statement. This would seem to dispute your sources claims of "[sic]distribution issues". But I can't offer any more than what has been publicly disclosed as evidence.

I will reiterate, for what it's worth, that Intel's P858 manufacturing schedules are at least on track, and despite this, demand for Coppermine is extremely high, i.e., supply is very tight.
