Va Linux is the former Va Research with Larry Augustin. We heard they were going public but the deal was a bought deal so no one else could get a piece of it. They have 5 offices in North America (in Mississauga too) and use the Caldera version of Linux and I think also Extreme Linux. I could not say what their profile will be as they are hardware-server oriented which is vertical market. Sounds like winner in public perception as they are working very hard on high end marketing. They also do not ignore the user groups so they know where to beat the drum. I know people don't pay attention here but there is more than one Linux deal out there. And some of them have public stock to sell to the little people. Some even have mature products that will compete with anybody's distribution. Uh huh. And you heard it here first.
