That's a function of the era. Without the go-go which started in '95 Warren might have been the hero and Vulcan the goat. This era can end quickly and it has a bogey rising now which everyone is quaintly ignoring convinced that it has no consequence although the same denyers have spent decades preaching how you don't argue with rising interest rates. The way it works is that it doesn't matter until it does, and then Vulcan can't get out fast enough because they are effectively leveraged beyond the moon in illiquidity. Suddenly Warren's stodge looks stellar because it sits on basalt.
