my favorite acorn squash recipe even non squashers love it! acorn squash 2 T brown sugar 2 t butter 1/2 t cinnamon 1/4 t allspice heat oven to 350 wash squash, cut in half, remove seeds fill a 13 x 9" baking dish with 1/4 inch water place squash halves in baking dish, cut side down bake for 40 minutes, or tender remove and brush each half with butter sprinkle with brown sugar and spices bake for another 10 to 15 minutes
