Thanks for the new board, but I'm not impressed with the company.

It seems it has been around since '86, mostly under another name. Now it has less than $.7 cash & securities. My pet dog has more assets.

Company says its business model is development of experimental drugs on contract only through P-II, a model I find unimpressive and, indeed, guaranteed to keep it in the penny stock realm by eliminating any large upside stock price potential. Even then, they "partner" with others to find compounds and they out-source both new drug screening and manufacturing. Seems like they could operate the whole shebang out of a postal box with maybe a room full of rat cages if they wanted to get really fancy.

No useful info other than quarterly and '98 annual reports available on the web site, unless you want a link to "Joke of the Day" (I'm not kidding!) and a string of other frivolous nonsense. My teenage neighbor has a more informative and better designed web site. No info on scientific team available at the web site, no in-house research papers I could find, no hard scientific explanations or data other than the superficial stuff appearing in the annual report and in press releases.

One anti-cancer compound that is in P-II has already received government approval in Mexico. Big deal. The Mexican government also approves ground-up apricot pits, political murders, narco-trafficking, and suppression of the Mayan people.

IMO, this is a stock for the trash bin.
