I acted on the news by purchasing additional shares at 10 5/8, thinking the annoucement will move the share price up. Nothing of the sort happened today. I will be patient. I used to own Pittston and JP Stevens. It took years before the buyback program had any effect. Then it more than tripled in price within 6 months.
