in regards to hiding ants (antennas), We've been doing it for years (amateur radio operators), as an effort to combat perceived interference (RFI).

I've built and seen some wild antennas and even got to see a friend's idea of a hidden ant. He tuned his apartment's Rain gutter system into a pretty awesome ant...

LIke most places, ham ants were forbidden at his apt. but no one discovered the rain gutter ant and no one complained.
