Numbers came out better than I expected. Since deals occured during third and fourth quarter I didn't expect any significant top line growth from them until next year.

I expected an increase in operating cost since the company stated long ago that they have to hire more people to support the growth new deals were generating. I certainly didn't have any illusions that they would be profitable so soon.

I'd expect an increase in operating cost going forward through 2000, but also an increase in revenue.

The only question left to be answered for me is whether Zi will be able to successfully implement its technology accross all the different platforms. The ball is difinitely in their court.

Long since march.
