In defense of Unclewest....

Uncle needs no one to defend him, but I think it is a little silly for anyone to base investment decisions on anything they may read from anyone on these threads. The fact that someone was one bullish and then changed his or her mind is a sign of intelligence, in my book. Situations change constantly, and each of us has to evaluate our own comfort with the facts or FUD. We are all capable of doing our own due dilligence. Uncle was a great source of info and enthusiasm for Rambus for a long time. Like him, when faced with recent developments, I too have softened my prior enthusiasm for the stock and have periodically sold off about 2/3 of my prior holdings. For Don Green's benefit, yes, I got actual, realized gains. I hope nobody ever would read anything into that decision by me except at this time I decided to fry other fish. I watch Rambus closely and hope to reenter further when the smoke clears. I think Uncle made much the same decision, and it is certainly understandable with all that has gone on over the past few months.

Since I am still long Rambus, just not AS long, I still hope for its great success. But I am watching more and reacting less these days.
