CyberShop.com Named to Inter@ctive Week's "Internet 500" List
Business Wire - November 24, 1999 11:28
JERSEY CITY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 24, 1999--CyberShop.com(R), Inc (Nasdaq: CYSP), a leading Internet retailer of branded merchandise (http://www.cybershop.com), announced today that it was named to the elite "The Internet 500" list published by Inter@ctive Week - a leading Internet publication by Ziff Davis, Inc (NYSE: ZD). The list ranks the top Internet companies by revenue, for which CyberShop.com was listed ahead of such prominent Internet companies as: Vitaminshoppe.com (Nasdaq: VSHP), Alloy Online (Nasdaq: ALOY), goto.com Inc (Nasdaq: GOTO), Garden.com (Nasdaq: GDEN), Ask Jeeves Inc. (Nasdaq: ASKJ), drugstore.com inc (Nasdaq: DSCM), Ariba (Nasdaq: ARBA), Talk City Inc (Nasdaq: TCTY), drkoop.com (Nasdaq: KOOP) and Women.com Networks (Nasdaq: WOMN).

The Internet 500, developed by the Center of e-Business at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Ernst & Young, the accounting and consulting firm is the first annual ranking of the nation's largest Internet firms both public and private based on online revenues. "This is the first definitive guide to the scope of the Internet economy," said Inter@ctive Week Editor-in-Chief Tome Steinert-Threlkeld.

The list was published in last week's November 15 issue of Inter@ctive Week where CyberShop.com was mistakenly left off the list; however, a clarification was printed in the November 22 issue stating that the company ranks No. 168 on the Internet 500. The listing can also be found on the Internet at: zdnet.com@500/151-200.html

"It is an honor to be named to the Internet 500," said Jeff Tauber, Chairman and CEO. "Having found CyberShop.com as an online retailer five years ago and successfully gone public over a year and half ago, it is nice to be recognized by Inter@ctive Week as one of the leaders of the New Economy."

Strange if the revenues are ahead of ASKJ, GDEN, and ARBA. Would like to see these numbers. Will check it out. Jack
