[ c o r r e c t e d ].thebeach, nice action today.echnically we are going through periods where there is no stock traded. That indicated to me very few people are willing to give it up. Monday the Institutions are back and we are going back up. Nobody really knows when an offer will be made. Could be any time as each ( of 5 -8 buyers previously quoted )is trying to beat the other guy. By Canadian law, I heard that a company must report to the public and government any offers. I would assume that any such offers would be taken to the board for discussion. Either as a group or individually, depending on the time frame each offer is made. Certainly TM may get a better price ?$45 - 60 if he waits 1 - 2 quarters but that is not guaranteed IMHO. Is it possible that since many of these companies have been eyeing NN before that a lot of the DD has already occurred? Also buyers may not want to wait till full 50/350 trials occur: they already know NN has a spotless record in putting out mammoth ATMs: could they buy NN as is ? Or buy it with certain provisions to be met at trials? Just speculating, TA PS There were a couple of brief volume spikes that put downward pressure on the price, probably a few timid shorts testing the waters.Apparently the attempt failed because volume dried up and price held pretty good at 22 1/16, ~ the price Tim Luke paid for it, gg. It be nice if more people shorted NN; it would add some pizzaz to future NN price spikes while we are waiting for the big one . . . .
