Back in the Dark Ages of COMS,
on October 7, 1999, a wager was born...
Andre:
>>Captain, a friendly wager
Since you seem to be arguing the stock can't possibly hit $40 or higher without a buyout, why don't we stop moving the goalposts and just agree on the following:
If COMS stock hits $45 or goes higher prior to two weeks following the Palm IPO, you agree to complain about/criticize COMS management at most once per week.
If I'm wrong, I'm obliged to address every post to you with "Captain, you da man!"

Captain:
>>Andre-- I did not say the stock could not hit 40 w/o a buyout,, would be next to impossible in the next 9 - 12 months though.I did say they cannot sustain any gains for long,, that is what makesw COMS so great! Those that hold through thick and thin expect a huge return,, while those trading the runs actually make a buck.. Go back over this thread for years,,, there have been many bulls,,, they just got tired of the wait and bailed,, this run will be no different,
You wish to play the IPO... suggest if it happens the initial pop may be there,,, but it will not last,, If PALM looked like the future to Eric he would keep it and bail the other parts ...
Gary:
>>Andre,
Friendly wager...OK.. Can I take you up on that??? In the absence of a buy-out COMS will not hit $45 or higher prior to two weeks following the Palm IPO. This also assumes that COMS doesn't push back the IPO date.

Gary again:
>>Andre..... hurry...before COMS sinks... I don't want to lose my opportunity to be "OG-da man".

Andre:
>>Gary, you're on.
If COMS hits $45 without a buyout prior to 2 weeks after the Palm IPO or April 7, whichever comes sooner, then Captain Jack limits his management gripes to once a week (or you can substitute similar relief for the rest of us/self flagellation of your own choosing)
Otherwise, I preface all my messages to you with "OG, you da man!"
:)

Ahem. Not only did the "next to impossible" happen (actually, we've exceeded it by $5 already!), but it happened before we even have the full details of the IPO!
We have hit $45, so I expect the Eric B. ranting and raving to subside a little :) To be fair, it has already.
Onward and upward!
