Neocon isn't here but fwiw I don't think pokemon is considered Anim‚. He probably saw Princess Mononoke.

But onto ghosts, I read that there is a famous ghost on the east coast at some vacation spot near a lake.... it sounded a lot like the woman killed in the true story "a place in the Sun"... the Shelley Winters character, ever heard anything about that?

I saw a commentary about ghosts and they didn't mention the place in the sun story, nonetheless I know that was non-fiction and it sounded like the same characters...
