In the press release Thomas Foley stated "we believe that the shortfall in sales to new customers was due in part to stale promotional materials". Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this a brand new release as of 9/30/96? This company really needs a marketing department! They have a bad case of Apple Syndrome! Additionally, I'm really starting to question management. Its April 16 and they finally figure out that their not going to hit their numbers! Don't most Companies pre-release disappointments 15-20 days before the end of quarters. This explains why DWCH can never give a scheduled earnings release date (they probably have no idea what's going on!). Software companies should be able to release earnings within 15 days after each quarter, it takes DWCH 30-35 days.
