Sam, You guys need to calm down. If you want to know what's going on pick up a phone and call Ross. I believe that they will be announcing soon that they have hired a new CFO, also they are coming closer to getting a new CEO. Ross is hiring more engineers for the Viper project . Head count is still about 254 same as 3 months ago. Ross is joint venturing and may anounce partnerships in that area soon ( quarterlys maybe ?) which should help support R&D expenses. From my understanding interest in the Viper chip is high and in my opinion with the delay in the Merced chip until 1999 by Intel, HP interest may get that much keener. Now for the bad news, I believe that they have cut workstation prices again because of competitive pricing by sun in the areas that Ross is targeting, possible revenues shortfall. But It is my opinion that Ross will be around until the release of the Viper, I also believe that we have'nt seen the last bad news out of the company. At $ 1 and change I believe that it 's worth a close look.
