Richard, the painful lessons will not be avoidable imo. the buy and hold forever mantra is btw. not cast in stone... at what level are these stocks correctly priced? i'd say nobody really knows that. it could be that they grow into their valuations as many analysts now predict. i suspect however that just as in past manias, the majority of the new crop of high flyers will simply disappear over time. regards, hb
