IXnet selects Coherent to provide Echo Canceling
Equipment for its worldwide network

Corp has been selected as the exclusive provider of echo canceling equipment by IXnet
(International Exchange Networks, Ltd.), a subsidiary of IPC Information Systems Inc , for use
throughout their growing worldwide network.
After extensive testing at the New York and London locations of IXnet, Coherent's EC-6000(
Echo Canceller was selected for its superior performance and ability to effectively solve the
problem of echo. The EC-6000 provides the most advanced level of echo control available for
both wireline telephony and wireless digital cellular applications. Coherent's expertise in the
telecommunications industry and ability to provide solid solutions to the problem of echo continues
to make it the choice for many telecommunications providers and operators.
