Outstanding! At least I can say that I've
done okay for the wife, doubled her money.
But you are right, lack of diversification
killed my account. And missing the Ariad rabbit
by a day really stuck it to me, something on
the order of a twenty grand loss shoulda
been a forty grand gain.

Oh well...it could be psycological, maybe
I self destruct right when I'm on the verge
of a good kill. My damn account has been in
a trading range between 35k and 70k for the
last year--not awfully far from the high once
again, but it's been murder watching the
biotech fellas here on SI rake it in with
some stellar picks--it's very hard to sell
something you believe is a good value to go
chase the momentum...CELG and NBIX, for
example, ooof--the transition from value to
momo is tricky.

As it stands I'm up something like 25% from Jan 1
...which is really rotten performance in this
frothy market. The NASDAQ biotech index is up
on the order of 50% this year...hate to get
killed by the damn index--and you know that
a handful of biotech SIers are way ahead of
that number.
