I placed an GTC order after market closed to sell my LANV
at $5 figuring that it'd sell friday..

however, when I saw that after hours it was over $5 i tried to cancel my GTC limit regular order to sell LANV and instead tried to place an AFTER HOURS sell at $5..

etrade rejected it because they say that the Market Maker has to confirm that my order to sell at $5 didn't execute yet... is that nuts or what.. of course it didnt' execute yet.. the stock had a high today of 2 1/4...

a manager is reviewing the taped conversation as I type..

I doubt they'll do anything.. if LANV doesn't gap up and run over $5 friday morning I'm gonna raise h*ll with etrade about this...
