i don't think tax selling will move beyond the second week of next month, unless you find some other reason for it to stay low. people who sell now in order to buy it back later will have to wait a month (before buying back the same security) in order to claim the tax loss. i find it hard to believe that if at least some will want their shares back, on the 24th of dec the stock will be this low. there would then be a force of buying that's in little existence now.

if you want to guess, look at the history of similar (problem) companies to see how far out into the month there's tax selling; historical pricing, edreyfus.com , and charts may help.
