Jules, this is much ado about nothing.

The way IBM handles one time charges may not be loved by every accountant, but they conform to FASB practices and IBM has always given full disclosure on how they handle these charges. They have teated one time charges/revenue consistently over the years, even when it portrayed the company's operating results unfavorably with restructuring charges. If the stock dropped because of this news, then I give The Street even less credit than the minimal amount I usually do.

There are issues to be concerned with IBM. You and others have presented some of those concerns. This is not one of them, it is a paper tiger. JMHO.
