That website is huge....Here's a quote on CDMA from the site. Developed originally by Qualcomm and enhanced by Ericsson, CDMA is characterized by high capacity and small cell radius, employing spread-spectrum technology and a special coding scheme. It has a special section on CDMA and outlines where in Africa that CDMA has been deployed. Slacker
