Relative to the SDSL/HDSL2 question HDSL2 technology is certain to take over the SDSL market. HDSL2 is a standards based technology that offers vendor interoperability. And, HDSL2 is a robust design and spectrally compatible (due to OPTIS) so it will not interfere with other services in the same bundle. SDSL uses 2B1Q , so there are spectral issues. With SDSL, service providers are collared by proprietary solutions. The upcoming g.shdsl standard which addresses multi-rate, will allow all the benefits of HDSL2 with an even greater reach.
