Happy Thanksgiving to you and all assembled.

Texans eat turkey like most (although there's probably a higher proportion of smoked turkeys here than elsewhere, and some exotic stuffings). Besides, my wife and I are displaced Yankees, so we'd probably carry on the tradition even if native Texans (like my daughters) did something different.

There are some ostrich and emu farms near here, but I haven't seen any trend towards replacing turkey as the Thanksgiving mainstay.

I'll take the soaked motherboard idea under consideration. I already have some old Sun machines, which maintain their usefulness a lot longer, IMHO, than do PC's, so it might be hard to justify an Ultra.
