My comments at the time had been suggesting ashort because at the time they were in a free fall. as Chief commented this is a pure hedge. TCL was sinking because TCL has two assets ( finacial instruments) They are short 5.2MM NT and long 6.3MM BCE and they only have 7MM shares out. a SHORT ON TCL would have simply been a combined short on BCE and a long on NT.

And the lenders were breathing down their necks. a few more bucks up for NT and a few more dwon for BCE and TCL was toast. As it turns out NT has been sinking and BCE rising for days.

It is, if nothing else, an interesting stock. - I dont trade much anymore - I did 3 weeks ago all week but that was the only time in the past 3 months
