It appears that our trade representative and the EU are finally talking. The US offered two different proposals. The EU came back with their own proposal. The Banana Republics rejected the EU proposal. At least they are talking. Losses for the quarter ending December are 0.21, a third of last quarter. Year 2000, according to the 2 analysts who estimated, will be profitable again at 0.92/share. I bought in at $8/share. The unrealized loss would be difficult to recoup in another stock within 6 months, so I will hold on into 2000. I believe that there is a good chance of the trade dispute being resolved in the next 6 months. A return to profitability would cause a sharp spike up in the price to at least triple the current $4 3/16.
