Bill; Look at the longer term dollar chart charts.quotewatch.com and figure when the market sold off last year and this year, the big money boys who also have a lot to do with currency moves parlay their plays buying with cheap dollars and selling when dollars hit their high. -------------- We need a TOBIN TAX on big dollar trades to stabalize this. Use it to fund the IMF and give 1/2 the tax back to the country who's currency is being sold ( or shorted ) otherwise we will never curtail the manipulators. Let the ones who profit on these huge currency swings fund the IMF , instead of just handing them money on a plater. Jim
