I think part of the fun of this business is checking the price activity each day. However you are dead right about this increasing the danger of acting on emotions, whether it's disappointment or exhiliration. My rational self has a tough time trying to ignore my emotional self which keeps insisting that if I don't buy (or sell) today, I will never get this opportunity again. It seems every time the emotional self wins the argument, I lose out. Sometimes it's best to shut off the computer for a few days. You'll be amazed to find your stocks have managed to survive without you babysitting them. Tom
