*#*#*#*#* LATEST OSCR & SHPS UP-DATE *#*#*#*#*
OSCM is working really HARD in ISRAEL... I called at 7:00 pm and they were still hard at work to cope with the huge demand for the $300.00 Computers... I am very impressed with the attitude and professionalism of the employees I spoke to (all in perfect English) and the open manner in which the Business is run...
Without my asking, I was even offered the cellular number of a Major Executive, Mr Rosenfeld... I can't recall a Receptionist from an American Company ever doing that; on the contrary, the number would be carefully shielded away from any potential customer... It was refreshing to talk to people who REALLY WANT your Business... Here are a few topics discussed:
  1) OSCR is the World Leader in the field of e-mail to fax and fax to e-mail conversion AND STORAGE of same! Leaders ALWAYS command a Premium in the Market: Microsoft, Intel, Ebay, etc...
  2) The way we communicate is about to be revolutionized: we'll soon have Video-Phones including Interactive TV, either as stand alone or in conjunction with Set-top TV's, at VERY LOW FIXED USER PRICES, using Voice and Data over Internet Protocol.... OSCR plans to be one of the Leaders in this field, as well...
  3) SIDY and BRKT are not competing against each others for OSCR Business: SIDY makes the software while BRKT produces the hardware... OSCR policy is to invest in any Company with which they have a strategic relationship.... Very GOOD IDEA, indeed!...
  4) The Public Enthusiasm for the 1 Million Computers is so great, that they believe the whole lot will be sold in about 3 to 4 months, resulting in a HUGE CASH INFLOW (some $300 Millions) for SHPS that will mostly be accounted for in the first Quarter 2000... Of course, OSCR will also Benefit, has it owns over 50% of SHPS... What MORE can I say? As my friend wrote: "It's MIND BOTTLING!"...
  5) Disclaimer: This is only my opinion, not a recommendation and no responsibility is accepted for errors or omissions... Potential investors should carry out extensive Due Diligence and only invest what they can afford to lose...
