I know the new Olympus models have both SmartMedia and CF slots. After only supporting SmartMedia, Olympus is conceding that CF is the future.

The market really isn't segmented. There are 3 choices, CF, SmartMedia, and Sony's Memory stick. SmartMedia is dying, as CF is rapidly becoming the defacto standard. Sony kept Memory stick proprietary, but it was becoming another BetaMax versus VHS. Too late, they recently licensed it to other mfgrs. I think that SNDK has won this war.
