Lighten up with the metaphors already. Cradles, playpens, streets, quicksand. Hmmm...
Your "March of Reason" proposal is a very good one IMHO. Logistically impossible if we can believe your 1 Bill Gates to 1,000K prole ratio, but good nontheless.
Explain how, in our welfare state pseudo-democracy, "reasonable" people might assume influence if they have no dowry to entice the proletariat. I respectfully submit that your suggestion of civil disobedience is ill conceived. Unless you're suggesting terrorist tactics, civil disobedience is largely ignored and in any case the antithesis of "reason." Kemp's idea of "empowerment" may be our next best hope. We've known since the French Revolution, and more recently the collapse of the Soviet Union that this is a hollow promise, but one that should sell anyway. This empowerment theme could be a rallying cry for a "Constitutional Party." It is a very reasonable ideal. After all, everyone enjoys considering him or herself empowered, whether or not he or she has the first clue about what to do this most basic constitutional right - soon to be considered a hedonistic priviledge.
By the way, Billary didn't go out of his way to encourage those on the government dole with nothing to do to volunteer for squat did he? Nah, didn't think so. It's better that we distract our future Bill Gateses with that. Maybe they will be thusly dissuaded from free enterprise. That said, where do I go to pick up my food stamps? Or, maybe I'll catch a bus for Montana.
