Jim: Appreciate your posts, and your balanced view.If I was negotiating with Cisco I would keep up the pressure and have a parallel stratergy, like going ahead with the OFDM meeting.Who better to hold it than WiLan? Certainly not Cisco mutual fund, who had to go out and buy yet another technology to join the OFDM crowd. I think Cisco will be well advised to play fair and pay heed to MSFT's trouble with the Justice Dept. I will refer you to Forbes Nov 29, Page 54: where they suggest that Cisco may have "encouraged" IBM to quit the Networking business. The magazine considers Cisco to be a potential candidate for some eyeballing by DOJ.
Contrary to Mr. E's opinion I read a lot into WiLan holding a OFDM meeting in Cisco's backyard.
