Victor,

I shopped til I dropped today or clicked til I dropped. The point is the finest developed apparel site is Landsend by far. One can create a model by giving them color and dimension information and outfits are tried on via computer. The model will also turn in various directions with clicking requests. The model can even be rotated. In addition, there are customer service people there live with whom to talk. The content was sufficient to suggest outfits based on ones size and shape for example, recommendations on how some outfits could make one look thinner, shorter, taller, etc.

I admit to being impressed there and the time taken to input the techology is amazing in my opinion. I believe Landsend understands retailing since that has always been their business and they know the problems one faces with apparel. They clearly have had experience with catalogue shopping except this is an online catalogue.

Give it a try.

Glenn

Penneys, Macys, Sears, etc. none of them have a site with this type of "polish." In addition, the Amazon site is garbage in comparison. I believe Landsend will do well here except the product they are selling is apparel which is likely one of the most difficult to do online.
