I heard that rumor last week from a stock trader in Toronto when volume spiked up to 1.3 million on Thursday and another 700K on Friday.

This is the worst kept secret on bay street.

Someone is definitely playing with this stock, whether it turns out to be a takeover I don't know.

IMO this is a prime candidate for a take-over, good quality company that has had steady and increasing profits over the last couple of years but the stock just doesn't reflect the potential.

The market doesn't have any faith in the current management to grow this company. They have taken this company as far as they could but they will never be a major player in the auto parts business by itself.

So the question has to be who is stalking them?

I can only think of 2 companies off the bat, Magna or the company that took a run at Air Canada, its name is on the tip of my tounge but it won't come out right now.

Magna may want Ventra's Europian operations since Ventra beat them to it.

I hope it happens soon, maybe they are waiting until we get closer to Christmas so shareholders will tender faster to get their hands on the cash to buy e-toys for their kids or sexy under-things for their wives or mistresses.

Let's go, get this show on the road, I need the cash.

Cheers everyone
