OT, <During the cold war the Russian school books claimed that Russians had invented these and other wonders of the world>

You need to use better sources than "cold war school
books". I am not sure what was said in the books you
have read, but I am certain their claims are not
far off. For example, to get you reacquainted with
the invention of radio:

webstationone.com

Maybe Russians are still not good as business
enterpreneurs, but as far as science and military
engineering concerns, I think you should know
better who you are facing with before going to
mockery. Don't forget that things are changing rapidly
these days, especially in business areas. Even Intel
become prone to Grand Stellar Launches :) If
the Babajan group has invented basic principles
of VLIW computing 20 years ago and worked with
some hardware implementations since then, what do
you think, who has better understanding of the
underlying technology to arrive with a working
compiler and operating system? Those who are
still in the dark for the last 5 years in
"Merduding", or those with 20 years of
practical experience?
