Hi Frank,

I took a beating over on the ECNC (eConnect) thread for posting many of the questions that are being raised tonight. It's nice to see this discussion in a civilized format.

Speaking of paying bills online:
www4.zdnet.com

The service I have with my Bank uses an ID# and a Password all i need is 128k encryption browser. I imagine AOL's will be similar.

It would seem that the major ISPs will offer bill paying online, and I would not be surprised to see LYCOS and YAHOO follow suit. I don't think an ePIN type of system will be used in these forums at all.

So then this would be used for consumption of goods and services. How do you convince the consumer he/she needs a peripheral hook-up to the computer to buy things online?

Regards
Jay
