Oddly enough for myself, i'm falling more and more in line with Sam's way of thinking again. Yahweh is not a nice god in my book, and there is something more powerful to boot.

i have my own external source of awe. The awe is there every time i check. Of course admiration of external sources of awe might eventually give the admirer a sort of "connection" with the "object" of one's admiration and awe.

This world is driven so much more by sexuality than it is by spirituality. Perhaps sensuality is the ultimate. How can a wacko like Yahweh compete with the loving caresses of a real woman or three?

It's funny that under Yahweh's religion the men have to pretend like they're in charge and the women have the luxury of pretending they're not in charge. Of course this appears to be true of most religions. Pity the poor man who has to - for whatever reason whether patriarchal faith or machismo - act like he's in control of women his entire life... yeah right.
