News from the North: It begins: 0 - 700 MHz in...The Accelerator. A Full Page ad on the last page of business section in this morning's largest circulation (fairly large even from southern standards) newspaper advertises The Accelerator (IBM's new 700 MHz monster...AMD Athlon processor, of course, 'cause if there is anyone else out there with a 700MHz processor, I've yet to see it), The Bonanza (K6-2 AMD 400MHz, The Connector (K6-2 450MHz and some other funny computer that goes by the name of The Front Line (Celeron (or something funny name like that at 433 MHz)). One half page is devoted to the rich features of The Accelerator. These systems can be ordered at: www.ibm.ca/store Almost makes me proud to be Canadian!
