Western Massachussetts is the best kept secret In the Tourist Trade that I can imagine..It is such a peaceful place, almost as if time stood still in the 70's. Anything North or west of Springfiled is worthy of being explored. I love the peaceful Countryside.. Did you know that there is a Peace Pagoda in the Deerfield area? Caroline Kennedy has a stately old home there. as do many names you would recognize. In Northampton you find all sorts of places filled with antiques and other treasures, you just cannot live without once you have seen them..There are several Rare Book Dealers in the area. There was a large Health Food Supermarket there Bread and Circus..All Organic foods sold ;-) I hope is still there.It has a sister market in Framingham, Mass. I am checking on Bill (49 syllable) Buckley..I dislike his use of the English Language..It takes an (Idiot) mentality to use those words that can be downsized to 3 syllables into the everyday language the average persona' can understand. It decreases his following and certainly does not make him a Scholar. hmmmmmmm he may be from Harvard :-( Hey, I saw a cartoon in Parade Magazine..with a great one liner..I SAT ON MY PALM PILOT AND BOUGHT A HOUSE ON THE INTERNET. LOL LOL
